60001 'The Railway Observer'

Another different 60 on 6E30, 60004 wearing the earlier EW&S version of the now-familiar red and gold livery, leaving Alnmouth loop heading for Lackenby. (July-'06)

60006 'Scunthorpe Ironmaster'

60008 'Sir William McAlpine' brings 6D43 Jarrow-Lindsey empty bogie tanks off the short branch to Jarrow which diverges from the main line at Pelaw. (Apr-'07)

After combining with an earlier portion (trains have to be split due to space constraints at Jarrow) at Tyne Yard, 60008 heads past Durham again with 6D43 Jarrow-Lindsey. (Apr-'07)

60010 coasting through Hanwell with 6E38 Colnbrook-Lindsey empty petroleum tanks. It is interesting to note that while it carries the early EW&S version of the now familiar red and gold livery, it also carries the 'three beasties' logo - only introduced with the revised 'EWS' livery. (Apr-'06)

Working 6E30 Dalzell-Lackenby empty steel, 60014 'Alexander Fleming' pulls out of the loop at Wooden Gates Junction, just south of Alnmouth station after being held waiting time. (June-'06)
